“Success means never feeling tired”, that’s the motto of Rose Sanchez
After graduating valedictorian in high school, Rose had to stop school to give way for her older sisters. Instead of giving up and doing nothing, she decided to take up vocational courses in TESDA, learning basic electronics and later on constructing her own transistor as part of the program. It was at that very moment that she saw herself wanting to be a radio news reporter.
Rose pursued her studies again taking up broadcast communications in Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) and landed an internship in DWWW 774 on her senior year. As a result of her hard work and potential, she was absorbed by the company and was given the position of production assistant for the news department.
In less than a year, Rose was given her biggest break to handle the anchor duties of the morning news program, “774 News Ngayon”, alongside veteran broadcaster Ely Buyco.
Even until today, the same spirit of passion and dedication to work still burns deep within Rose. She is currently taking up her masteral studies in broadcast journalism in her alma mater, PUP
